Side By Side Share Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Here's how our cancellation policy works to keep things fair for both renters and owners.
Cancellation Timeframes and Refunds

If cancelled more than 14 days before Booking Start Date:
Refunded: 100% of the rental fee
Not-Refunded: Service fee, including tax, plus screening fee -
If cancelled within 14 days of Booking Start Date:
Refunded: 50% of the rental fee
Not-Refunded: Service fee, including tax, plus screening fee -
If cancelled within 24 hours of Booking Start Date:
No refund available -
If cancelled before Booking Confirmation:
If you cancel a booking request before it's approved by the owner, any pre-authorized deposits or pending charges will be fully lifted. No processing fees are applied here.
If the Owner Cancels
- Full Refund: You'll receive a 100% refund of all fees paid.
- Alternative Options: We'll also offer to help you find similar listings available for your dates.
How to Cancel Your Booking
- Cancel your booking by reaching out to us at admin@sidebysideshare.com. Alternatively, you can use our help desk, and we’ll get you covered right away.

Communication is Key: If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible to be considerate of the owner's schedule.

Changing Dates: Unfortunately, Side by Side Share cannot modify and/or extend bookings between renters and owners. If you want to modify your reservation dates, contact the owner to see if adjustments can be made without cancellation.
