• UTV Tours: No OHV Education Course is required, but expect a quick safety orientation from the tour operator before departure.

Damage Deposits

• UTV Rentals (unguided): All UTV rental companies require a hold on your credit card prior to booking that typically range anywhere between $2,000-$5,000. It’s not a charge, but simply an authorization or hold on your card in case damages to the UTV occur. If you return the vehicle with no damages, this hold will be released shortly after your booking end date. If you return the vehicle with damages, you will be charged up to a certain limit.
• UTV Tours: When booking a UTV tour in moab, unlike unguided rentals, pricey security deposits are typically not required. Tour operators, however, may still offer minor damage insurance upsells at the time of checkout.
